'Buy a personalised copy' form

If you are ordering a book via the David Videcette website, you will fill in the 'buy a personalised copy' form. For your book order to end up where it belongs we need you to share some information with us. We use this information to make sure your order is fulfilled and delivered in a timely manner. This means you will have supplied us with a postal address and email address so that we could communicate with you, in order to send out a fabulous personalised Videcette book.

Payment for all our personalised paperbacks via this website is currently through PayPal. We do not receive any personal or financial information from PayPal about you, nor do we share any personal information with them in order to process any transactions - apart from your email address.

Once you have placed your order with us, PayPal will send you an email with details of the order and the total cost, so that you can verify you are happy to proceed with the transaction before going ahead. Sharing your email address with PayPal is standard required industry practice to initiate and complete a PayPal transaction and for PayPal to communicate and verify the details of the transaction with you. PayPal's own privacy statement can be found here.

So that your personalised book order can be fulfilled, we will share your preferred delivery address with our printer for shipping purposes. Sharing your preferred delivery address is standard required industry practice to fulfil your order as per your delivery request and the purchase and payment of your order. Our current printer for personalised books is Ingram Spark. Ingram Spark’s own privacy statement can be found here.

From time to time, we may send you, as a valued Videcette VIP customer, special offers and promotions by email and/or post. Under data protection law, it is considered a legitimate business interest for us to use customers’ details for direct marketing.

However, if you do not wish to receive any further communications from us, (and you do not wish to know when that next Videcette book is out) or just want to update your information, please email us at: privacy@DavidVidecette.com or write to us using the address at the bottom of this page.

We’ll start the process straight away, but it might take up to ten working days to be completed.
